Tinei is from Zimbabwe and is a graduate of the University of Zimbabwe where he read for a BSc in Political Science.

Passionate about governance, Tinei is a former member of the Junior Parliament of Zimbabwe and has been actively interested in understanding the governance processes. He hopes to do a MSc in Public Policy and Governance.

He is also a volunteer and Leo leader under Lions Clubs International District 412 A (Zimbabwe, Botswana) where has served various communities since 2014. He has volunteered and occupied different positions throughout his service journey and worked in many nationwide programs with the Ministry of Health, GAVI Alliance and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Tinei is also an entrepreneur and has established a business to provide a wholesome range of food including free-range birds, dried foods, fresh produce and related organic farming product.
